Pivot

Pivot is a social enterprise that empowers people experiencing homelessness to pivot their lives through making and enterprise. Their mission is to bring purpose, meaning and flexible employment to those who might otherwise not have access to it, and in doing so give them the confidence and skills they need to take steps away from temporary accommodation.

They believe that by bringing purpose into hostels, they can engender self- worth and self-esteem in people, empowering them to change their lives and break a vicious cycle. It is their ambition to re-frame hostels from dead-end situations to places of momentum, creativity and opportunity which create positive outcomes for residents.
