At our social enterprise Interestingly Different, we sell a wide range of stylish items including gifts and furniture. Some of these are made in-house by our ‘trainees’ – the adults with learning disabilities whom we support – and others are sourced from 30 other social enterprises across the country, all doing positive work in their communities. Whatever your budget and whether you are shopping for family, friends, colleagues or teachers, we’re sure that you’ll find something beautiful in our online shop. Or, if you would like a selection of items within one gift, why not take a look at our wonderful gift boxes, all packed with care by our trainees. If you buy one of our gift boxes you’ll be supporting numerous causes.

3.Share Our Mission
If you don’t wish to purchase a gift this Christmas, raising awareness can really help. Share our posts on social media or simply speak to your friends and contacts about us, encouraging others to shop with purpose and support a social mission when they buy. If each person that buys encourages just one other person to buy, then we sell twice the number of items and potentially make twice the number of profits… all going towards increasing wellness and the employability of adults with learning disabilities. Each order also helps to create purpose for the adults whom we support.

5.Visit our Shop
As well as our website we have a dedicated South London-based bricks and mortar shop displaying all of our gifts, homeware and furniture. Every visitor to our shop provides retail experience for one of our trainees. We currently give paid employment to 4 of our trainees who greet customers, help to serve at the till and keep the shop stocked, neat and tidy. Please do pay us a visit, we’d love to welcome you!
