Their profits help women experiencing dreadful conditions and fund emergency refuge shelters or longer-term recovery and healing activities. Lux Luz produce a beautiful range of candles with glorious scents. They are all handmade in London and vegan-friendly. Plus, once you’ve enjoyed your candle, Lux Luz glass jars and aluminium lids are fully recyclable.
Lovewell
The wonderful Lovewell supports, employs and trains women who have experienced trauma through trafficking and exploitation. These women build new skills by manufacturing candles and skincare products, thereby increasing their strength and confidence. The ultimate aim is for these women to be confident enough to move into alternative employment in order to break their cycle of deprivation. Lovewell also hopes to increase awareness of the experiences of marginalised women.
Flourish Paperworks
Flourish are a brilliant Devon-based organisation working hard to provide training and opportunities for women overcoming serious hardship. This includes recovering addicts, those who have been touched by the criminal justice system and more. The Flourish programme aims to get these women back in the workplace after equipping them with the necessary skills, enabling them to unlock the door to a more hopeful future. Those under their care print and fulfil orders, work with customers and are part of a wider team.
